"Working with Scirio on CeNSE’s science communication initiatives has been a truly rewarding experience. From social media content creation and management to event coverage, their team consistently delivered high-quality work with creativity and professionalism.

What impressed us most was the way individuals from diverse scientific backgrounds came together seamlessly to contribute to a common goal—resulting in engaging and impactful content.

Scirio has come a long way in a short time, and we look forward to seeing them scale new heights in the national and global science communication landscape."

Suchitha's SciRio is innovative, diligent, and prompt in executing their ideas. In addition, they are quick thinkers and adapt to situations when confronted with adversities. It is delightful to see them light up a room despite encountering an unforeseen challenge.

Suchitha was a resource person at our inaugural 3-day residential course in Science Communication, co-organised by FAST India, Vigyan Prasar, and Cactus Communications. Her session "SciComm in Action: Strategies and Audiences" provided an overview of the diverse models and formats of science communication as well as the key audiences to be identified for these efforts. Suchitha's session was not only informative for the participants, who came from diverse government labs across the country, but the way she interacted with them and answered their questions demonstrated her commitment to fostering a deeper understanding of Science Communication.

Science Communication and Public Outreach

"India needs a platform where science communicators can be groomed and mentored. Such a platform not only trains them on skills but also opens up the different areas in which a science communicator can make a difference. As a community, we need to ensure that science communicator roles are not thought of only in the context of institutional support. We should create powerful storytellers as well as convince the world of the power of storytelling in science, together. I hope SciRio does this."

"Before, after and during the session I led with SciRio, there was a real sense of community among participating sci comers in India. It was an open and frank discussion about the realities of sci com that I myself learnt a lot from. I loved it when someone commented: 'Who is reading that stuff anyway?' SciRio team worked hard but effortlessly on bringing all the details together for this online interaction, edging on hyperreality. Looking forward to more."

"SciComm Foster, organized by SciRio, is the second workshop that I have attended this year, first being SciComm Lite 1.0, to begin my journey as a SciComm writer. When I first started out exploring the field of scientific communication, I thought of establishing my career as a Science writer only. But, these workshops has enlightened me about the prevalence of other avenues one can explore as a SciCommer. Moreover, these workshops provided an opportunity to connect with the other budding as well as established SciCommers. I would specially like to thank Suchita Champak, the founder of SciRio and the moderator of these two webinars for her thoughtfulness of organizing these two events in quick succession providing us enough time to absorb the contents of first one and being ready for the takeaways of the second. Additionally, the mentors for each session and workshop were quite approachable and creative people. It was fun to be a part of these webinars which were full of young, energetic, curious and creative minds (participants, mentors and organizer)."
